Hill Elementary schedule
Special Notes
1. The published bus routes are as of 7/30/2008, and reflect
all known student ridership;
however, route times may require adjustments due to incoming
student registrations
during the remaining summer months.
2. To identify buses, bus numbers corresponding to the routes
listed below will be posted in the second window next to the
entry door of each bus.
3. Full-day Kindergarten students at Quaker Hill will take
the regular a.m. and p.m. buses.
4. Parents of half-day Kindergarten students will be notified
by each school prior to the start of school as to approximate
mid-day drop off times for morning Kindergarten students and
approximate mid-day pick up times for afternoon Kindergarten
students. REMINDER:
morning Kindergarten students take the regular bus in the
morning, and afternoon
Kindergarten students take the regular bus at the end of the
day.
5. Parents of Magnet, Friendship, Vo-Ag, Dual Language Academy,
Science, and
Technical School(s) students will be notified by First Student
regarding their child’s transportation.
6. Students being transported by special buses and vans will
be notified by the contractors as to pick up and drop off
times.
7. Parents are requested to contact First Student at 443-2244,
the school’s Principal’s Office, or the Business
Office at 444-5849, in that order, if there are any transportation
problems.
8. Late runs for detention and after school activities at
Clark Lane Middle School and
Waterford High School will begin on Tuesday, SEPTEMBER 2,
2008.
9. Waterford Public Schools regulations for pupil behavior
on buses are published in the
student handbooks.
10. Bus routes are subject to change daily throughout the
school year due
to traffic, weather, and driving conditions as well as ridership.
11. ALL TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE. PLEASE BE AT YOUR ASSIGNED
BUS STOP AT
LEAST FIVE (5) MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED TIMES.
12. Before School Care Programs are available at each elementary
school (K-5) beginning at
7:30 a.m. and at Clark Lane Middle School (K-8) beginning
at 6:30 a.m. Transportation is provided to the elementary
schools from Clark Lane Middle School. Registration is
required and forms are available at each school.
13. Afternoon bus transportation to Clark Lane Middle School’s
After School Program,
Ballestrini’s, and Carelot, are offered to all elementary
students.
14. Bus Stop Change Request Forms are available at each school.
TRANSPORTATION
Bus Transportation Request Forms
Request forms are available in the Business Office and at
each school for bus stop changes, new student transportation,
daycare transportation, student address changes, and school
transfers.
Bus
Stop Change Request Forms must be submitted to the Business
Office Attention: Business Manager. In order to request
a bus stop change, parents or guardians must complete the
yellow Bus Stop Change Request Form. Information on the current
bus stop, the bus number, the requested bus stop, and the
rationale for the request must be filled in. The approval
or denial of the request may take up to two weeks.
School
Bus Transportation Change Form (three part form)
may be obtained from each school or the Business Manager's
office. This form is used for transportation requests to daycare,
changes of address, new students, and student transfers to
another school. Forms must be submitted at least two
school days before the effective transportation
change date.
